This position is responsible for leading the rapid! paycard/prepaid sales efforts for the Sales Division and effectively managing the rapid! sales managers assigned to that Division:

Lead sales division of 5 to 9 sales people
People Management.
Mentor, motivate and inspire individual sales representatives to improve their sales & service skills, WEX knowledge, competitive knowledge and overall performance.
Participate and contribute to the Strategic Planning process by representing the needs of the field sales organization and the competitive challenges in the marketplace.
Advocate the needs of the team, individual team members and customers with management and other departments within WEX.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years professional sales skills, with an emphasis on strategic selling and excellent probing / questioning skills.
Proven ability to manage a successful team, divisional budget, including pricing to insure revenue targets are met.
Strong organizational and PC skills required.
Ability to work independently out of a home based office.
Proven performer in a collaborative, team environment.
Strong leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
BS degree in Business, Marketing or Finance or equivalent
Track record of success in commercial paymentssales or prepaid card industry is preferred.
Prior sales management experience is preferred but not required.
Must feel comfortable traveling via land/air.
Must be comfortable speaking in front of customers and groups on prepaid and rapid! products and services.
Must pass a successful background investigation.
