Wells Fargo Equipment Finance (WFEF) is a leading bank-owned equipment leasing and finance company in the U.S. with a portfolio exceeding $48.9 billion, more than 133,000 active customers and 1,100+ team members with coverage in all 50 states and Canada. WFEF provides a full spectrum of financing and lease options for customers’ equipment and capital expenditure requirements through Wells Fargo business, commercial and corporate banking channels, relationships with equipment manufacturers and distributors and direct to market. WFEF has Industry and Asset-type specialists devoted to Construction Equipment, Commercial and Specialty Vehicles, Healthcare, Energy/Marine, Solar, Vendor Finance Programs and Corporate/Private Aircraft.
The Contract Administrator processes revisions to legal documents for necessary amendments to loan/lease contracts that take place after the initial booking process. Makes modifications to collateral terms, transfer of ownership, business organizational restructures, and legal name changes, etc.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Responsible for review and funding of commercial lease and loan documentation for equipment financing.
- Functions include auditing transaction structure and documentation ensuring compliance with Wells Fargo policies and approved credit parameters, funding approval and disbursement.
- Assists in identifying viable solutions to resolve documentation issues and responsible for final approval of transaction for funding.
- Verifies perfection of security interest in collateral and compliance with company policies.
- Responsible for coordinating transaction closings and may coordinate transactions involving the purchase of third party paper with the Program Source and Territory Manager.
- May act as liaison between Territory Managers and Corporate Legal group.
- May interface directly with external WF Customers.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of business experience, administrative support experience, or a combination of both

- Basic knowledge and understanding of collateral documentation, perfection, and business entities
- Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Word skills
Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
IA-Cedar Rapids: Min: $38,300 Mid: $52,500
IA-Des Moines: Min: $38,300 Mid: $52,500
