We are seeking an Analyst in the Corporate Finance Data Management Group (“FDMG”) to support Apple’s key finance projects and financial reporting. This critical, global role is responsible for the ongoing finance data maintenance of Apple’s core financial reporting systems. In this role you will work closely with Apple’s Information Systems & Technology (“IS&T”) team, various Finance teams and other functional business groups globally. This position is involved in various finance projects and assists in the implementation of “best practice” processes and standardization across global finance master data. This position is based in Austin, TX.
Key Qualifications
- - 5+ years of related work experience
- - Understanding of key finance and business master data concepts and background in financial transactions and related reporting is desired.
- - Experience working with SAP R/3 (ECC) financials and project management processes
- - Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- - Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- - Strong ability to influence people without direct authority
- - Experience working effectively across many teams
- - Self-starter and ability to multi-task while performing a variety of complex tasks
- - Detailed and results oriented and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- - Knowledge of Apple enterprise system landscapes is a plus
Description
• System administration and support for financial transaction process in SAP R/3 (ECC) Finance (FI/CO) and related modules (SD, MM, etc.)
• Coordination of finance system maintenance efforts and issue resolution • Manage user acceptance testing with business users for system updates and enhancements
• Manage the FDMG governance portal for the processing of finance master data requests
• Manage system enhancements and updates, and all related communications
• Participate in global business and finance system projects
• Define standardized processes and drive ongoing process improvements in the finance master data area
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field
