This role will be based in Sydney, Australia. This role covers the Australia and New Zealand portfolio. Australia is a Single Subsidiary Area while New Zealand is part of a larger multi-subsidiary area (APAC). The Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Commercial Finance team has the responsibility to partner with sales and marketing teams, operations and fellow Finance counterparts in Corp.

The Enterprise Public Sector (PS) Finance manager in ANZ will partner closely with the Enterprise business leads to be the Finance front-end specialist for the structure and economics of large deals. The successful candidate has deep insights into all large deals and builds on the deal-based forecast from Sales Excellence to deliver materially accurate forecasts. For all large deals, the Enterprise PS Finance manager ensure high-quality submissions for Digital Win Room and deal-based investment requests. In addition, the Enterprise PS Finance manager will be the driver of transformative initiatives within the region with strong impact in the digital transformation of our customers
Responsibilities
Partnership:
- Be the Finance front-end specialist for deal insights and deal construct.
- Partner with Licensing/BD to optimize deal structuring and closing. Provide end-to-end assessment of deal/customer profitability incl. discount, End Customer Incentive Funds, COGS, Credit & Collections, Financing etc. (+compliance aspects)
- Ensure Digital Win Room and deal-based investment requests high quality submissions
- Build strong, trusted relationships with all key business stakeholders (PS Leads, Services Leads, Sales Excellence) to ensure Commercial delivers on its finance and business accountabilities
- Industry analytics and Customer Potential and Propensity analysis to key stakeholders to assess market opportunities and threats.
- Leverage the Customer Solutions and Market Analysis Finance managers to drive conversations around Consumption and Customer Ads
- Partner with Regional Operating Centres on deal-related FX, credit and collections topics (CTE)
- Actively engage with Business Decision Makers for key /strategic accounts: Sponsorship and Total Cost of Ownership Conversations
Finance & Business Excellence:
- Owns Forecasting, building on Sales Excellence inputs (Deal Based Forecast) and trend analysis (materiality) to land Engineering Group (EG)/Solution Area views and pricing level accuracy in the context of New Revenue Standards (NRS).
- Lead the financial Rhythm Of Business for the Enterprise business including forecast and budget.
- Oversight Enterprise Agreement Renewals to assure desired/targeted renewal rate
Controls & Compliance:
- Drive compliance in the Segment with focus on Sales Deal Execution and Proactive Risk Management
Qualifications
- 5+ years of active experience in similar role
- 10-12 years of experience in finance positions
- Cloud expertise, deal structuring knowledge, machine learning/bot experience, and advanced Excel skills preferred
- Experience in Multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles is recommended
- Good compliance understanding / experience for the deal structuring and execution.
- Fluent in English
- BA/BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics, CPA/CA preferred
