Manager/ Senior Manager - Digital Banking - American Express

This Manager/Sr. Manager will develop strategy and execute against GCS digital banking products and features. The Manager/Sr. Manager will be responsible for identifying digital banking product opportunities to meet the needs of our customers and contribute to defining the overall strategy. The Manager/Sr. Manager will also test, build, launch and manage digital banking products.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with partners to develop the strategy and roadmap for Digital Banking and intersection points with key initiatives across GCS and the Enterprise

Define and develop value proposition and experiences for Digital Banking product offerings to solve for customer needs and support a compelling offering in the marketplace

Support the management, agile development planning, and implementation of all technology development projects

Utilize innovative customer first research approaches to quickly test, learn and iterate product concepts

Define and develop new product features, capabilities and experiences to deliver customer needs and remain compelling in the marketplace.

Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners across GCS and American Express including Technology, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to deliver on new product development and product launches

Develop a strong understanding of the commercial banking landscape and emerging players in the space

Build and maintain customer and market intelligence, including customer needs, market trends and competitive landscape.

Own and coordinate customer research to inform marketing assets and sales tools

Develop recommendations and communications for Senior Audiences

Qualifications

3-5 years of Digital Product Management and /or Product Development experience

You are a relationship builder with strong influence management skills who excels at bringing multiple cross-functional teams together toward common goals

You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills. You have the ability to problem solve, make decisions, and think broadly to create strategies based on business needs

You have a demonstrated ability to provide insight and accurate judgment in addressing and resolving complex business issues, challenges and opportunities

You have knowledge of banking platforms and experience operating as liaison between business and technology teams to define requirements, prioritize, and deliver on projects through agile technology development

Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills.

Strong customer focus and orientation

You are a team player with a strong collaborative orientation

You have excellent written and verbal communications skills with experience

You are comfortable working through ambiguity and creating structure and strategies in white space

You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and speak up when you have a different point of view

You have the ability to drive results

Commercial Banking Experience a plus

MBA or equivalent preferred
