Help us build out our data-driven revenue engine
We are looking for an exceptional Marketing Insights analyst to be a foundational member in building out a data-driven revenue engine for Stripe. In this role, you will help drive marketing and revenue initiatives through enabling technology and automation for the broader marketing team, defining and developing key metrics and reporting, and provide critical decision making support through bespoke analysis and insight generation. You will be responsible for developing the strategy and requirements for our analytics technology stack, and partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, develop and execute on initiatives that will drive predictable revenue growth at scale.
You will:
- Drive the requirements and configuration for Stripe’s marketing analytics technology stack (e.g. marketing automation, web analytics infrastructure). Project manage configuration and implementation changes to support business needs.
- Develop and own standardized databases, dashboards and reporting for all major marketing campaigns and insights
- Track and communicate marketing KPIs to help optimize global marketing programs and campaigns
- Perform ad-hoc analyses on site performance and funnel conversions, and come up with actionable improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to develop and launch cross-functional improvement initiatives
- Design, maintain, educate and communicate marketing analytics best practices across the organization
You’ll ideally have*:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Marketing, Business or similar
- 3+ years hands on experience with a web analytics platform (Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics)
- 2+ years experience and deep proficiency in SQL in a large and complex data environment
- 2+ years experience developing visualization with Tableau, Looker or similar tools
- Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis to drive business decision making
- Ability to think through a complex business problem, solve it and come up with actionable insights and recommendations
- Demonstrated success in influencing senior leaders on strategic direction based on recommendations, backed by in-depth analysis
- Proven track record in working with and driving cross-functional improvement projects with both technical and business stakeholders
Nice to have:
- Experience with a marketing automation platform such as Marketo or Eloqua
- Familiarity with AWS and Redshift
- Experience with BI tools, Data Management and Modeling
- Experience with a scripting language such as R or Python
- Prior experience at a growth stage internet or software company
