The Healthcare Segment within Sony’s Imaging Products and Solutions of America (IPSA) division currently has an excellent opportunity within their marketing team. The Marketing Manager will provide management and leadership in the development and implementation of various marketing activities for the full line of OR integration solutions and products offered by the IPSA Healthcare business.  

This position will have accountability for developing and implementing unique marketing programs, promotions and communications designed to stimulate awareness and generate demand creation.  This individual will be expected to effectively utilize both internal and competitive data to develop strategies that give Sony a competitive edge in the market. In addition, this position is responsible for developing and managing Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships and expanding utilization of these customers.  Create and execute programs geared toward Architect & Engineering firms as well as Equipment Planning companies.  Establish relationships with Infrastructure, PACS & IT professionals. Work with the service organization to develop and deploy comprehensive offerings designed to retain touch point with end user.  In addition, this role will be responsible for operational needs such as pipeline management, RFP’s and end user contracts (BAA).  This person will work closely with the Product Management & Sales teams in N.A.  

Travel is estimated at 40% and is primarily domestic travel events, shows, and customer visits related to voice of customer gathering or product beta test sites.  Some international travel may be required.

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent, Marketing preferred
  • Must have 5-7 years related experience in OR Integration or hospital surgical industry
  • Prior experience in sales and market research is required
  • Knowledge of overall healthcare market is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills of complex issues are required
  • Strong knowledge of industry competition is needed
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills as well as managing multiple projects
