This role is being offered within the Private Bank Risk Reporting team under the Finance and Risk Infrastructure (FRI) organization’s Finance and Risk Management Reporting group.
The primary focus of the department is to present a comprehensive set of reports in an accurate, timely and reliable manner to Citi Private Bank’s Risk Management, Financial Planning and Analysis and Business units. It handles several high priority reporting regulations from US and non-US regulators such as Core Capabilities, DSFT etc
It also involves data analysis and investigation to assist CPB users in understanding these reports. The CPB Risk Reporting team interacts with global Private Bank risk portfolio managers, FP&A, Business, Finance, Technology, Audit, and other areas across the firm.
Responsibilities:
The role requires understanding of Core Capability and DSFT deliverables and coordinating work across Risk, Business, FRI and Technology teams. The person will have to work with CPB Risk to understand and finalize changes to CPB Risk reports to make them DSFT compliant. They will also need to work with Technology to pull out the required data for manual versions and then define requirements for automation. They need to do this in-synch with ongoing Core Capabilities related automation. Other responsibilities include:

Understand DSFT and BCBS requirements and impact on reporting

Participating in UAT for DSFT and BCBS Chapter 9 reports and working with technology to resolve those issues

Liaise with CPB Risk counterparts to gather their feedback on the new reports and obtain sign-off

Qualifications

Understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk and Risk Management concepts
-
Experience with technology implementations, requirements gathering and UAT
-
Excellent data analysis, communication and organization skills

Basic knowledge of banking products
-
3 or more years of work experience in Banking, Reporting and Leading a team
-
Experience with technology automation – defining business requirements, user acceptance testing and data quality issues management

Advanced knowledge of commonly used reporting tools MS Excel, MS Access and/or Databases (Oracle)

Experience in banking, financial services
-
Experience leading technology automation projects including requirements definition, UAT
-
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree

Ability to analyze complex and voluminous data

Excellent leadership and team building skills

Excellent analytical, writing, communication and presentation skills

Excellent communication, organization & interpersonal skills

Knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk, Expense, Revenue, RWA and exposure calculations is a plus
