The Technology Department includes about 50 professionals who support PayPal Business Financing Solutions through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Data Analytics platform, Network Infrastructure, Websites, Webservices, and various system integrations. The position is based at our Company's office in Conshohocken, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Be part of an empowered team following agile methodologies.
- Develop software using Salesforce.com, Apex and other web technologies based on defined business requirements and functional specifications.
- Follow best practices for designing, building, testing and deploying high-performance, user-oriented, Salesforce-integrated applications.
- Prototype and implement core business logic, system integration services and database designs.
Qualifications for Success:
- Extensive experience with Visualforce, Apex Code, SOQL, SOSL, Apex Batch, Apex Triggers
- Must have experience in JavaScript, jQuery, SLDS.
- Experience with custom application development in Force.com, utilizing VisualForce and Lightning Components/Framework.
- Must have a solid understanding of the Sales & Marketing Clouds including but not limited to standard object schema, governance limits, and best practices for coding standards.
- Experience with object modeling and the creation of custom objects and fields in Salesforce.
- Hands on experience with SSO Integrated Apps.
- Must have extensive experience integrating Salesforce.com with third-party solutions including authentication methods.
- Must have extensive experience creating APIs.
- Experience with release management tools and version control, Salesforce DX is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Connect is a plus.
- Experience with Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) integration with Salesforce a plus.
- Must have a passion for Salesforce Development and stay up to date on new features, functionality, and changes.
- Excellent debugging, performance optimization, unit testing, and integration testing skills
- Experience with Salesforce Connect is a plus.
- Experience with Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) integration with Salesforce a plus.
- Experience in an Agile test-driven software development environment.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence a plus.
- Excellent problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Education and experience requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree with major or minor in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2-5 years of Salesforce.com development experience on a SFDC platform.
