Overview

As a part of Mastercard’s US Marketing organization, the Issuer marketing team is responsible for creating market differentiation for Mastercard, developing and executing marketing programs that drive acquisition, activation and usage of Mastercard with our key bank issuing partners while leveraging our brand investments.

The Issuer Marketing Senior Analyst is responsible for a key issuing customer and merchant partners, as well as for supporting the Issuer Marketing team in the development and execution of marketing and customer experience solutions to help grow both Mastercard’s and the partner’s business. These initiatives are expected to drive incremental Mastercard revenue and assist the partner with their key business priorities. The Senior Analyst will work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to support the execution of the strategy. This individual will work closely with the account team, and also engage directly with the partner, managing the relationship through presentations, project management and results delivery.

Role

• Create customized marketing plans and execute programs leveraging marketing and sponsorship assets to support Mastercard business and marketing initiatives for existing customers as well as prospective issuers.

• Manage client portfolios with responsibility for business objectives and client relationships, in addition to client facing engagement and support across the business.

• Manage internal and agency relationships to own the successful creation and delivery of marketing solutions.

• Proactively analyze projects to anticipate risks/issues; head off problems, drive problem solving with the team and optimize the plan to ensure program objectives are met.

• Track and deliver reporting on marketing program results, supporting the U.S. region and global team.

• Manage portfolio planning as well as on-going sell-in and execution of marketing opportunities with responsibility for idea generation, leveraging Mastercard investments in marketing programs and assets, budget and project management through to campaign or event execution.

All About You

• Marketing experience within financial services, agency or consulting disciplines required.

• Client management experience required with strong client-facing skills.

• Highly creative and flexible, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

• Detail oriented and comfortable managing budgets.

• Strong process and project manager with experience on complex projects that require significant cross-functional teamwork and senior management experience.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years minimum experience required.
