Job responsibilities:

Direct a team of analysts to develop loss forecasting models for a retail credit card portfolio under CECL
-
Responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and providing directions/guidance on a daily basis to direct reports in developing loss forecasting models

Develop a thorough and in-depth understanding of CECL standards and its implication in loss forecasting

Provide strong thought leadership in both theoretical aspects of model building as well as practical implications of model usage by multiple stake holders

Responsible for mathematical soundness of all models produced by the team. Responsible for accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all deliverables by the team

Direct and leverage resources in multiple locations (Riverwoods, Phoenix and Shanghai)

Responsible for documentation and controls, modeling related or otherwise to ensure replicability of all analysis performed, and models developed

Ensure compliance of various internal and external policies, standards and procedures
