Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is building new and innovative tools to allow our worldwide network of sellers to connect with customers around the globe. The high-performing business is expanding, and requires strong finance leadership to drive the right investments in this exciting space. The Senior Finance Analyst for FBA Product will join a high-performing finance team and lead the capacity and inbound product side of FBA finance. This individual will partner on decisions around software development pipeline, capacity planning around storage and product development to support inbound process for FBA.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the opportunity to fulfill the Amazon motto to “we pioneer.”
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Serve as the key business partner working directly with management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial view of the inbound process by producing activity P&Ls
· Develop ad hoc business analysis and present recommendations to senior management on capacity growth/needs to drive topline
· Managing the financial planning and analysis effort, forecasting various metrics for financial risks and opportunities
· Reporting on the financial performance and leading in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reviews
· Influence key leaders across the company for this highly visible business line
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
· 4+ years of relevant finance experience
· Advanced knowledge of Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Comfort and experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data
· Experience leading operations or business finance teams
· Highly analytical and detail oriented
· Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
· Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
· Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to turn data into actionable insights
· MBA preferred
