Amazon seeks an experienced, high performing Sr. Finance Manager to play the lead role on our North American Customer Services Operations finance team directly supporting Amazon's Customer Services operations in the Americas.As the Sr. Finance Manager, you will partner directly with the North America Customer Service Director and the business leaders of the operational sites. You will provide financial guidance and reporting to the operational leaders and you will support the business to drive operational efficiency and to eliminate defects. You will build scalable and automated planning and reporting solutions. As a member of the leadership team, you will directly influence key business decisions including customer experience, site expansion, business models, policies, and long term vision.Primary job responsibility entails leading a team responsible for:· Serving as key finance partner for operational site leadership.· Short and long-term financial planning and analysis including analytics of current and future programs.· Improving existing systems, processes, controls and policies.· Improving financial forecasting models.· Managing and developing a team (finance managers, senior stie controllers, and site controllers).· Improving operational efficiency through reporting and analysis and goal setting and tracking.This role requires a vocally self-critical individual with a bias for learn and be curious. This individual will also have a strong passion for partnering directly with the business, developing a team, helping drive appropriate prioritization of tasks and responsibilities, and working effectively within a multiple stakeholder environment. The successful candidate will have shown success in influencing business owners and internal and external partners. This role has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon including international entities and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field is required
· Minimum of 8+ years of finance or related field (3+ years post-MBA)
· Minimum of 3 years direct management experience
· Proficiency with Excel

· Experience working with business and finance teams outside the U.S.
