The C+AI business is a fast-paced growth business encompassing our Cloud and Developer engineering teams with a large portfolio of diverse products (Azure, Server, Embedded, Dynamics, Power BI, Hololens, AI Platform).The C+AI Finance Team is looking for a strong finance professional to manage controllership within the Business Application Group (Dynamics & Power BI). This role will provide controllership support for the BAG organization (ROB, cost management, SEC segmentation, Headcount control, etc). Additionally, the role will work to clarify the relationship between R&D expenditure and company strategy to enable better business support through long-range planning efforts.If you would like to build a broad knowledgebase across multiple products and functions, and develop a strong partnership within and across multiple teams, then this position is for you.
Responsibilities
• Controllership support for the Business Application engineering team
• Building business partnerships with business managers
• Understanding relationship between R&D expenditure and company strategy
• Partner with central team for any drill-down insights needed; including year over year analysis, variances to budget or forecast, and headcount analysis (including alignment to products)
Qualifications
• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or other relevant field. CPA or MBA is a plus
• 6+ years of work experience in accounting/finance/controls
• Solid process management skills with impeccable attention to detail
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills (effective written and oral communication with a variety of levels of personnel including CVP’s)
• Analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to reporting accuracy
• Knowledge of MS Finance tools and policies desired
