The WCB Finance team is looking for strong candidates who can work in a results-driven, dynamic environment in a business area with a huge growth opportunity. Candidates would proactively partner with internal customers to drive global impact through maximizing revenue, market share, and profit.

We have an opening for a Senior Finance Manager who will partner with finance and business leaders in WCB to drive ROB, WCB end-to-end business insights, reporting and community. The role requires strong business acumen, partnership, collaboration and analytical skills. This is a highly collaborative role that involves partnering with several teams at Microsoft internally (WCB, GSMO, M&O, and CFT).

Responsibilities

  • Drive the WCB ROB process, owning core deliverables such as revenue financial closes with WCB CFO and monthly business reviews with the WCB EVP. Push for Modern BI in the analytics across the ROB.
  • Develop and own end-to-end WCB business insights. Partner with all teams under WCB to build comprehensive story, including growth patterns, risks, and areas of opportunity.
  • Own the WCB/GSMO segments community to grow priority alignment and partnership.
  • Own WCB revenue reporting strategy – across Enterprise & SMC segments, OCP, ECIF, etc. Partner with CFT to develop and accrue to broader centralization and standardization efforts.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or business field (required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (required); finance or business field (preferred)
  • Proven collaborator with the ability to work with all levels and functions within the worldwide and field teams. Positive, creative, can-do attitude.
  • Passion for Great Work. Strong attention to detail. A dedication and passion for customer / partner support, building positive relationships & credibility
  • Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and meet deadlines. Ability to achieve results through both individual and cross team efforts, to manage multiple projects at the same time, and to work effectively under deadline constraints.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analysis. Problem-solving attitude. Experience in influencing decisions and developing strategic plans.
  • Go Getter. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic. Self-directed, resourceful and willing to roll-up sleeves as needed. Proven ability to drive projects and analysis to closure in a collaborative and matrixed environment
