The PayPal sales organization acquires merchant and partners via direct and indirect sales teams. The global sales operations team supports the functions essential to the global sales force. These include planning, sales training and onboarding, process optimization, compensation design and administration, sales technology management and administration, sales and partner reporting, rev share and account management.

 

The Senior Manager, Global Sales Operations is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of their team and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate sales processes and systems meet the objectives and priorities within the sales organization. This role works manages a team which supports the execution of sales process improvements in salesforce.com which supports sales organization across the globe. This leader acts as the central point of contact for the global sales operations leadership teams for prioritization of projects.
Responsibilities
  • Manages a global team responsible for sales technology and Salesforce.com support for Sales Operations and sales teams.
  •  Responsible for of Salesforce.com redesign efforts and helps coordinate projects and deliverables as part of managing the operating cadence of the global sales operations and sales teams.
  • Oversee team that provides day-to-day support and administration of Salesforce and ensuring execution and adherence to policies, solution design and communications.
  • Work with key business leaders and sales operations partners to map and improve sales processes, design solutions to support these process improvements and manage the development and execution of these process improvements.
  • Proactively identifies technical opportunities for sales process improvement.
  • Plan and execute the tactical elements of sales technology development and integration using best practices and continuously improving on: sales model/processes/methodologies, competencies, productivity metrics, technical design, territory hierarchy, and developing the team they lead.
  • Lead technical solutioning for new sales process related to contracting, pricing, compliance, reporting or compensation.
  • Works with other departments by understanding the sales model and ensuring the integrity of information available through various system and reporting structures.
  • Participates in the coordination and solutioning for Global Sales Operations team inquiries, ad-hoc requests and projects.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university 
  • 8+ years of related leadership experience
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in salesforce.com architecture, development and system integration lifecycles.
  • Strong Leadership capabilities, including experience of leading a highly motivated team
  • Experience managing, executing and leading globally
  • Requires an excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales and Sales Operations processes and systems (sales cycle, Salesforce.com, reporting, forecasting, territory management/hierarchies and sales quotas).
  • Clear, strategic thinker with vision, with the ability to execute on priorities
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure and to meet challenging targets
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions
  • Ability to identify and pursue new technology improvement opportunities in line with business plans
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
