Job Description

In this internship, you will be working as part of the Silicon-Systems Architecture team within Intel's Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group NSG to design and implement software that models Intel's future Solid State drives and predicts their performance.

 

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assist in the design and implementation of tools that augment Intel's SSD performance modeling capabilities. This includes the development of in-house data visualization and exploration tools.
• Perform SSD performance data collection and analysis to support model development.
• Participate in code reviews
• Ramp quickly on architecture, design/technical

 

The candidate should possess the below behavioral traits:

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience.

 

Minimum Requirements:

• The candidate must be pursuing a MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computational Science

 

Minimum 3 months of experience in the following:

• Programming
• Debugging
• Computer architecture

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in C/C++
• Knowledge in NAND Flash or other memory technology
